Preview flash files

Hi There,

When I have flash files in my DCR, the preview for the flash files does not work. It works if I have images.

Is there any module that I need to include in my tpl? First time working on flash images. Any clue here?

are you generating xml files or html files from your dcrs and are you generating an object tag somewhere in the process for the flash files?

You're going to need to generate something like this if you're not already:

[html]

[/html]

parameters may vary depending on your flash files.

I am generating the output as html files.

I beleive the code you have given as example may make sense for xml generation. Correct me if I am wrong.

the code i listed is for html. if i were using xml files then your xslt files would be building that same code as well from the xml files.

if you're html output does not contain the object tag then you won't be viewing flash files.

does your html page work when it is running on a webserver outside TS? there is nothing special to be done to preview a page with flash objects... if it works outside teamsite, it should in teamsite.

In addition to what's already been posted here - you may need to augment the MIME types for your "customer web server" to enable flash file processing - On Windows this is usually IIS, or Unix it is usually Apache - though it can be different on either system depending on what was set up when TS was installed.
