Hi,

I am working on a requirement of submitting images and other assets attached with a DCR along with the DCR in a single workflow.
Is it possible??
If yes, how and which all files need to be loooked for??

Right now, we need to separately submitt those images and assets in separate work flow.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

how do you right now attach images etc to the DCR?.
the way we do it is once we know all the images etc attached to the DCR we use TS AddFiles() function to atatch those files in the workflow job.

You would need to add code to your workflow (externaltask usually) that parses the DCRs to find referenced images and then, ensuring that the paths are area-relative, add them to the task object so that they'll be processed along with the DCRs after that point in your workflow.

The code for parsing may be simple or complex - depends on whether the images are referenced in separate items, or if you need to extract the references from within textareas. In the former case - the paths referenced in the items should be sufficient for adding to the workflow as-is (with one exception - below). In the latter case, you may need to do some regex-processing to extract the area-relative path from the rest of the directive.

The above all assumes that the images are stored in the same branch as the content. If you have images in a separate branch being referenced by content in a different branch - you would need to launch a separate workflow or make a somewhat complex parallel processing workflow for the images because you cannot have files associated with multiple areas in the same task.
