How to make some of the dcr field values null during the copy dcr

Hi,

For each DCR there are some unique values which are generated during DCR creation. We are using DD to copy the data to DB. We are getting unique constraint error during DD, when the user trying to deploy copied dcrs beacuse of same values.

So we want to make some of the dcr field values(unique value fields) null during the copy(when the user click on the copy option).

Would you please suggest best way to implement this.

don't allow them to be copied.

I never do, save as is also disabled.

If you must allow copies (I highly doubt it is a firm requirement) then make a custom menu item to copy DCRs that will regenerate the new values.
