Access parent frame/window variable

Hi,

I am using a JS file in my Datacapture.cfg
This JS file has a global variable

var myArr = new Array();

In my Datacapture.cfg I make a server call which in turn make DB call, fetch some value from DB and call a JSP file.

Now from the JSP I want to access the global variable myArr and set the values in it.

I tried following, but its not working

parent.getScriptFrame().myArr = tempArr;

Can anyone help how can I access the variable from Parent window/frame?

parent.getScriptFrame().myArr;
