Authors can't select templates or add components

Hi,

Currently, anyone in the author role cannot select a template when they create a page, nor can they add components or templates in the page editor. For admins and editors everything is working fine. I presume there is a permissions issue, is there a config file I need to tweak?

Have you tried to manage the Role itself through the Administration tab?
