Hi,

I request some help regarding customizing the End Job event in Teamsite. I need to customize Teamsite to trigger a mail to the Approver in a Worflow, once the Author Ends the Workflow job using End Job button.

I checked the Workflow developers guide. However, I couldn't get any information about adding event listner for workflow termination. Can anybody help in this regard. Any help provided will be appreciated.

There is a confusion with your statement.

First line seems regarding customizing the End Job event in Teamsite.

?

While next line seems regarding a Worflow, once the Author Ends the Workflow job using End Job button.

Ok, In simple its very complex to do so. First thing is that how you can recognize the Approver of a workflow while clicking End Job. While sending a email to the Admin that will be same to all the workflow. It seems feasible.
I suggest you to find the other approch that can be restricting the user to clicking the End Job according to role.
Otherwise you need to go through the Customization Guide and dig into custom java coding because you are going to change the OOTB operation.

You should discourage / train users NOT to use the End Job option in the workflow tab - instead, you should provide transitions within your workflow, where it makes sense, to allow the user(s) to terminate the job gracefully.

The problem is that there is no unique event thrown for clicking the End Job option in the workflow tab AND the event would be POST-operative, such that you would not be able to get details about the job in order to address and compose the email you want to send.

If you handle it gracefully within your workflow, you can have such "end job" transitions first transition to an email notification task, and then transition to an endtask - providing notification and audit-ability.
