Teamsite 6.7.2 - CGI not flushing output buffer anymore.

Hi All,

We have just upgraded from TS6.7.1 SP2 to TS6.7.2 (Linux server Red Hat 5).
Since that time, imposible for me make that autoflush working as before.
We have a couple of CGI scripts that output the status of our program to the browser, progression bar, steps by step information on a long process... etc.

I have noticed that Apache version changed from 2.0.59 to 2.0.63.

I have done a very simple test with a perl script printing and sleeping in a loop. It works in production that has not yet been upgraded, but not working on the development server freshly upgraded.

I'm not an Apache/Tomcat configuration expert therefore I'm a bit struggled to find what could be the right configuration to have the flush working again..
I was having in mind to change some parameters like the buffer size or timeout but I can't find anything that could be suitable.

Any help would be welcome or even pointing in a direction that I can dig out.

do you flush the buffer properly to start with? I mean the settings of $|

I am having the same issue. We have fresh install of TS6.7.2 on RHEL 5.
I am using $|++ and $| =1.

Kindly help us in resolving this issue.

I was correctly using the flush directives with correct lines in the CGI. A simple loop flushing srings worked perfectly on a 6.7.1 and not anymore on 6.7.2.

We can see that Apache tomcat version have changed. Is there a way to change the new CGI behavior?

An other issue we are currently facing is that one of our store, the oldest one, is now very slow to display the right frame for the list files and directory details... Is there also a relation? not sure but if someone knows what have changed between teamsite UI and Apache/Tomcat... it would maybe help!

I've been having the same problem, has anyone figured out how to get it working again?

I love doing status bars and the like, letting the user know that stuff is happening. I'm also wanting to do some asynchronous work with Call Server, and this CGI flush problem is preventing it from working properly.
