Comments don't recognize return carrier characters

Hi,

TS 6.7.2

I have an issue with the comments when I run an Approval workflow. Apparently, the Task Comments box does not recognize return carrier characters.

Do you know any way around this?
Do you know where this file is localed so I can modify it?
Could I call a javascript just like in the customized workflow file?

I created a javascript that will replace return carrier chars with br html character.

The return characters are there - but if it is being viewed as HTML, they are treated the same as any other white-space. Replacing them with

<br />

tags is reasonable, though depending on how they're being processed you may have to use

&lt;br /&gt;

- I don't remember off-hand, so you'd have to play with it yourself.

The question may be, though, where are you trying to view these comments? In the UI or in an email? The former would probably be harder to fix without using something like an externaltask to read and re-set the comment. The latter can be handled in pretty much the same way, but by the script that creates and sends the email message.
