how to make callout button in hidden item invisible

hi,
I am creating dct based on datacapture5.0.dtd. I have a callout button in a hidden item. The issue is

IWDatacapture.getItem("/path to item").setVisible(false);
[/html]
even if i use the above statement i can still see the button, if i make this item of type text it becomes invisible. How can i make the callout button invisible


Environment : 6.7.2 SP2, Windows 2003

Afaik there is no supported mechanism to toggle callout Button's visibility. You can try to encapsulate an Item within the Container and switch Container's visibility on/off
