Hi,

Env details:

TS 6.1
solaris 8
user authentication through LDAP
still using webdeskpro UI.

While trying to use teamsite's import functionality from "File" menu of we are getting an error could not impersonate user "user_name".
anyone faced similar issue..? solutions probably othe than replacing iw-home/httpd/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi.

Well that is the first file to check. It should have the setuid bit set, have you looked at it ?

Try looking through the various log files (iwtrace.log, iwui/*log) and see if maybe there's a bit more information to put forth for the problem being seen.

Let me make a quick guess(pls correct me if I'm wrong) - the Teamsite user might not have access to the OS files which he's trying to import. His UID is different for Teamsite and OS authentication schemes. However, if both Teamsite and OS use the same LDAP UID for the user(assuming the OS login is also through this LDAP), then possibly, you need to check the permissions on the file/folder, this user is trying to access on the OS.
