Can anyone provide me the iw clt command for reverting the version of the file in the workflow.

hmmm, let me guess. Interwoven loves to start commands with iw, you want to revert,

maybe iwrevert

iwrevert
Usage: iwrevert vpath rev
where vpath specifies a path to a file
and rev can have any of these formats:
a revision string, as displayed in iwrlog (e.g.
"/main/br/52"),
a number, indicating how many revisions back, or
the object id of a revision.

Usage: iwrevert [-h|-v]
-h displays this usage information.
-v displays this command's version number.

It is not clear for me what you would like to do.
You can do revert from Edition and from Submission as well.
