On the new profile dialog, when I try to get the new document object from the context items collection:

object newDocument = ContextItems.Item("ImportedDocument");

I get this error:

Item "iMan___9" does not exist in collection

Does anyone know what this means? I tried both with a class that has no subclasses (and they're not required) and a class with a subclass and I get the same error either way. What gives?

Are you able to view/edit the default document profile on the folder where you are trying to import ?

9 - is for subclass - it means some how worksite is not able to get the subclass value from the folder

From which event are you querying for the new document object from the ImportedDocument ContextItem? This contextItem can only return the new document object from inside the PostOnOK event because that's the earliest possible time that the object is generated along with the import (uploaded) physical file on the server side for the client to return it.
