TS 6.7.2 - Visual Format Issues

Hi All,

We are seeing the following issues with Visual Format in TS 6.7.2.

(i) "View as WYSIWYG" and "View Source" buttons are loading on Visual Format editor with 30 seconds delay.

(ii) When i add HTML comments in "View Source", they are getting cleaned when i saved the form.

Any ideas on reason for the above issues? Please post whatever fixes you may have.

Which all browsers are you facing this problem?
Is this the default vfe configuration, or your customised?

We just started having issues this week with the Visual Format editor too. You can enter data in the control. After you do a generate it will not allow you back in to the control. All of out data in the WYSIWYG control is blank when you click in the control. We have never had this issue before. Browser is IE 7.5.5730.13IC. Could an IE patch be messing us up?

These issues are seen in both IE 6.0 and IE7.0.

Did you try with the default visualformat config?
If yes, and you still face the same problem, then open a ticket with support.
If no, then compare both the config files and try to figure out what is causing this.

We have similar issue with custom vf config file. I have experienced similar behavious from some of the user computers with same IE version that I have.

1) Chcek whether you have custom VF modification ?.
2) Test with IW supplied config
