...-now what happens is that if i approve it or reject it it goes back to the user who submitted the job, which is great... BUT.. i can only set the owner to $IW_AREAOWNER or $IW_USER so the final approval or rejection email is either coming from the user, or the managers... and thats not what it should be...how can i change the final email to come from me? is there some sort of configurable variable i can use?
Where you have the option to put in $IW_AREAOWNER or $IW_USER - try just entering in your userid manually instead.
thats what i was afraid of... never touched perl before.ill check out those threads and see what i can take from them and start some testing...
could i try a nested workflow?im wondering if the logic would work for that?somehow in the nested portion, my backups and i (Corporate Communications ID1228333423214) would be the $IW_AREAOWNER, so that when the email is sent to the $IW_USER, it would be coming form one of us 3??possible?
Ok, so i found this in the CLT book...iwat.exeThis program is used to register an event handler for events that do not have a specificcommand trigger program.Usageiwat.exe [-h|-v] [-s servername] eventpattern programExample>iwat CreateWorkarea /usr/ucb/echomy question is, where would i use this trigger in my visual workflow modeler?in the properties of the owner for the email task? would this be under the SCRIPT or CONFIGURABLE option?
