read the manuals. There is no automated way to do it.

as Andy mentioned, there is no automatic way to convert them. but it is simple process to manually "convert" them to wfm. i think it all depends on what you have in ur wft workflows. all i did is created new wfm and point external tasks to all perl script and cgi that was called from wft... and then use some useful OOB task such as review task, deploy task, email task...

It depends on whether you have a lot of customer Perl code in the WFT or not. If you don't really have much in the way of customer Perl code in the WFT - the re-implementation as WFM should be pretty trivial. If you do have code there, then it may be somewhere between not-so-trivial and downright-frustratingly-difficult ;-)

First you should go through the WFM user guide. This will help you lots. Then debug the WFT, it will give you Job Specification file. This file will give complete understanding of workflow, it's tasks and it's transitions. Now with the help of Job Specification file try to Develop the workflow in WFM.

I am still unsure why Interwoven has released WFM without addressing the existing state.
Currently developers in my team are in dilema whether to go for old WFT model or with WF modeller.
Guess this exists will all developers.
On op of this the repeated question on converting the existing WFT to WF modeller will have high hit in the forum.
Guess Autonomy can answer to all these question by providing us a Plug-in to automate.

Teamsite latest version still supports workflow builder (wft), its not mandatory to change it to WFM, going fwd you can have your new WF's to be designed in WFM. Use the existing one as it is, if you feel it is difficult for you to change it.
