Can you run custom code whe a user drags and drops a document in a Workspace folder?
MarcelVanKempen
We want to alert our internal users when they drag and drop a document into a folder to which external users have access.
Dragging and dropping a document in a workspace folder does not invoke a worksite dialogue box so we can't user a nrs script.
Is there a Worksite event handler or call back function that gets called when a document is dropped in a folder?
We have a lot of workspaces to which external users have access through the worksite web. The ACLs of the workspace folders grant access rights to external users. Our internal users can drag and drop documents into these folders. These documents could then inherit the workspace's ACL because of WorkSite's refiling and matter centric inheritance. We want to remind our internal users that this could mean that the document will become visible to external users.

Yes, you should be able to write a custom command. We have done similar thing for one of the our customers when a user drag a document to a folder which is visible externally , it warns them and adds additional information in the doc history
Thanks

The command you need to customize is dragdropactioncmd

Thank you very much. This gives us at least a bit of hope. Is this an undocumented feature? Searches for dragdropactioncmd on Devnet, Google and through SDK manuals all result in 0 results.
