Need help in Page level Login configuration.

Hi All,
I want to configure a livesite page , where user must login to view the page.
I am using custom OOTB login componets .The login component is checking user data on custom database(not livesite database). I configured the "Requires Login:" attribute on the "page settings". The configuration is not working on the runtime.
My TS version is 6.7.1 , LS - 3.0.2.
Please help me out.

Do you have implemented the OOTB login component successfully. Is it working fine? Is it validating user from database?
It should work on both preview and runtime.

yes, the component is working fine and user data is validating from the database.Only problem is the configuration on the page.
