CSSDK bad class file error

Hello,
When I try to compile a Sample CSSDK program I am getting the "bad class file" error.

The error details are given below:

\temp\mohamed\cssdk>javac SampleCSSDK.java
SampleCSSDK.java:6: cannot access com.interwoven.cssdk.common.CSVersion
bad class file:

\Program Files\Interwoven\Teamsite\cssdk\cssdkiface.jar(com/in
terwoven/cssdk/common/CSVersion.class)
class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 48.0
Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpa
th.
import com.interwoven.cssdk.common.CSVersion;

My classpath includes both cssdkjni.jar and cssdkiface.jar.

Looks like jar class version issue. Any ideas please.

What version of the jdk are you using?

I have seen this type of error when you are using the wrong version of the jdk. Try using the jdk 1.5, and cssdk 2.5 or above.

Well. I found the problem. The problem is that the jar files I am using for CSSDK (cssdkjni.jar and cssdkiface.jar) were compiled with java 1.5 and I tried to run my Sample application with Java 1.4. That causes this error message when I tried to compile my sample program.

I have another question. How do we know what Java version the Servlet Engine (Tomcat Application server) is using ?
