Running Servlet in CGI Task

Hi,

Looking through the example code in customer_samples_src, the servlet's can get the client object by:

request.getAttribute("iw.csclient");

What are all the different options in that getAttribute? Is there a document listing on the possible values? Is there an iw.cstask attribute to get the task? Or a iw.csworkflow attribute to get the workflow?

From the CSSDK API, I can see that you if you have the client object, you can get the task by client.getTask(int taskId)..... But without the task, how do you get the task id? Is it passed in automatically like an external task?

If you want to see what is in the request, there isn't much that is proprietary about the request. You can look up the Java API -- it is a standard Java ServletRequest. If you know anything about ServletRequest, you can use *getAttributeNames* and *getParameterNames* methods to get all of the attributes / parameters present in the request. Interrogate the request and see what is in there.

If a task ID is present in the request: try this request.getAttribute("taskID") where *taskID* is the attribute name. I am pretty sure that is what its called.
