File Datum

Hi All,

I am using a File Datum in Content XML using the below code :-

The moment I select the desired DCR in "Set Deafult Content " and click "OK", the file datum gets changed like this :-

templatedata/content/eventregistration/data/test_eventRegistration
[/HTML]

And then if I click on Preview/Save, it throws the following error :-
[HTML]
Component Preview Failed
Could not load component data XML into XMLDOM.
Datum ID=[formData]
File must start with $URL_PREFIX or a url scheme(e.g http:// or file://)
[/HTML]

I also tried using :-
[HTML]
$URL_PREFIX/templatedata/content/eventregistration/data/test_eventRegistration
[/HTML]
But still its not working and throwing the error in the java code.
Could anyone point out the correct usage of File Datum.

Env Details - TS 6.7.1, LS 3.0.1, OD 6.1

Try encapsulating the Datum value in a CDATA:

<![CDATA[$URL_PREFIX/path/to/file]]>
