Delete un-submitted DCR

We have configured Datadeploy, using DAS, to store our DCR in our Oracle database. When we save a new DCR the data is loaded into the WORKAREA table. If the DCR is submitted it is removed from the WORKAREA table and loaded into the STAGING table.

However, if we create a new DCR, save it and then delete it, it is NOT removed from the WORKAREA table.

Quick update
I tailed the OD base log and there is nothing when I delete the DCR so maybe there is a problem with the daemon.cfg.

Is there a delete event missing ?

The thing is, if this is an unsubmitted DCR, there is no delete event. One *feature* of triggers is that it only acts on the 1st change to a submitted object. You add a new file, that is a change to a directory & the trigger fires. If you change it again or delete it the trigger does not (now that is from my 5.X days working extensivly with triggers, the functionality may have been added later but I do not remember it)

I just did another test:-

1) Created a new DCR, saved it and it appeared in the database.
2) Made another change, hit save and it appeared in the database.
3) Deleted the DCR and it WAS NOT deleted from the database.

This could be a trigger issue, where there is an un-submitted delete does nothing ?

Hi, I just reproduced this on a TS671/OD621/RedHat4 to Oracle10i/RedHat5 solution stack.

I believe it has to do with the deamon.cfg not responding to delete events.

Did you get this resolved eventually, or are you still waiting for a response in this forum?
