Filter integrated search results

Using the nrs search events (or any other method) I would like to filter the results of an integrated search in Outlook (or Word/Excel) and only display the results of the worksite search that meet other external criteria. I've tried intercepting the events in the NRS file and attempting to modify the result document collections but they all appear to be read-only.

Is there some other way to do this?

You would need to search by WorkSite search values first, then iterate through the results collection to see which one matches your external values to then display only those matching results.

Can you elaborate what you mean? For example "You would need to search by WorkSite search values first" -- do you mean run the search on my own (not use the integrated search at all) or something else? Are there any examples of doing this?

I think what jny means is that, make use of the worksite search parameters for the search, then check your filter to see which one matches your search and finally choose to display only the one that matches your filter. Hope that makes sense?
