TinyMCE and forms

Hello all,

I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone know how to get TinyMCE to stop adding code to my form tags?

What I paste in:
<input type="hidden" name="hidden1" id="hidden1" value="test1" />

What I get:
<input id="hidden1" checked="0" disabled="true" name="hidden1" readonly="true" type="hidden" value="test1" />

I searched the TinyMCE forums for an answer to this, but what I found didn't work. Which brings me to my second question...

2) From what I've been told, Autonomy doesn't provide support for their HTML editors. Is this true? I realize they are 3rd party editors, but since the TeamSite implementation of TinyMCE is not a "full blown" implementation (and has been altered by Autonomy), shouldn't they provide support for it? It seems there is no "true" support for it anywhere...

just use cleanup regexes in the TPL. Learned that in 2000, and nothing changed since.

Typically tinyMCE hasn't handled the FORM type objects very well. You will have to dig into the tinyMCE.js to turn those inject features off.

As for support, Autonomy/IWOV has provided some support for issues but in general unless they are related to the container apps (SitePub, FormPub) they aren't too helpful with customizations. The latest release of tinyMCE (3.x) that is installed with the latest TeamSite patches seems a lot better.

Presumably TeamSite 6.7.2 SP1 (which is a release and service pack, not patch)

actually if you are on 6.7.1 sp1 , tinyMCE 3.x comes with the latest patch. just go to the support site and you will find it. it is the 5th patch but not sure of the official serial number.

TS 6.7.1 SP1 comes with Tinymce 1.4.x
TS 6.7.2 comes with TinyMce 2.4.x
6.7.2 SP1 comes with Tinymce 3.1.1
