Windows 2003 SP2
TS 6.7.1 SP1

We are trying to install the search component but are receiving this error when trying to install

"Product Search is not installed on this system"

Search had been installed some time ago by another user. Since then it's not clear what happened to it. The service is not there but in the UI the Search button still exists and users are able to perform searches.

Also looked in "Add and Remove Programs" and search is not listed there. Went through the registry looking for search and didn't find anything.

How can we clean up the old install and start the install from scratch?
