parse tags in VFE

I am on TS 6.5 on windows, I did a VFE button basically to insert a custom tag for a text selected from VFE. For some reason I couldn't get span to work, it actually never get parsed as I do not seeit in the html view.

Did any one parse span tag in wizzy to apprear in html view?

A span tag without a class or id attribute is essentially useless and VFE (by default I believe) will "clean" (a.k.a. remove) such tags if they don't have attributes -- read the documentation - looking for information about empty span tags - and it should become clearer.
