Issue # 1:
Looks like a jsp file in one of our Workarea is corrupted.
Reason:
1. Click on edit gives: "No Workarea Found" message
2. The file was generated before and is in Production already but when a user tried to edit he got this error message.
3. Tried deleting the file and re-create it but still no luck.
4. Tried creating another file in the same location and that works fine. There is problem when the jsp with this particular name is generated.
5. The file has no properties except for the file name
6. The file is zero size.
7. I tried to copy the file and set extended attributes but still no luck.

Please let me know any inputs on this one.

Issue # 2:
1. Click on edit on a jsp file which brings up the form but a blank page. So looks like the form is not getting loaded completely.
2. other files in the same location loads completely on clciking edit.

Please let me know wat could be the reason.

try reverting the previous version of the JSP for #1

#2 there could be a number of issues, try editing the DCR itself first.

Check your formapi, that can cause this. Turn your JS errors on your browser that may help

Any Luck with #1 ??? We have same issue and there is no version of file in staging to revert.

Any suggestions pls.. It's really annoying.

You can do what the other guy did, If you can open the file from the console in any editor, copy that into a new file and add extended attributes to it and save it with the same name as before.

Before you save it delete the previous entry and submit it.

I also tried to copy the file into another name and set extattr and works fine, but when i rename the file to name we wanted, again the problem comes. so, some thing with the name in the perticular location. if i create same file with same name in diff location, then no problem. we told to users now that pls use diff name for the file, but never understand why the problem occurs for that perticular name and under that perticular folder. No permissions, config issues as we checked that part also.

Do one morething, Make a solid copy of the file on your local system.
Delete the File In your workarea totally and submit the deletion. See if the file is sucessfully deleted, now add the extended attributes to the file and import it to TeamSite and then try editing it.

At the first point where you have deleted the file and couldn't submit it (If system comes back and say that the file is not present in the workarea, then i am sure it is condition of stalelocks.) Then work with IWSupport to get the iwstaelocks.ipl file run it on the file , submit the deletion to staging and then import the file.

2. Submitted the file to staging and it goes well. Then tried to delete the submitted file from workarea, still can't delete thru user interface. So, deleted file thru command line, then I see X sign on file in user interface.
3. Finally tried to submit deleted file and goes well without any issue.
4. Then Copied back from local system to workarea and applied extattrs and tried to open the file, still the same issue like 'No Workarea Found'. Also when you see the Properties only file name is there.

So, No luck at any point even with all possibilities. Just want to update with status and I don't like to stop the post just like in between. I will try to post, if there is any status (Good/Bad)..

Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

Something sounds very wrong here - I suggest you open a case with Support and see if they can setup a LiveMeeting (or similar) session with you so that they can see exactly what is / is not happening on your system.

So, some thing else went wrong for this file in that branch. Initially they asked us to create new workarea and try, even that didn't fix the problem

That's where we end for now.

Have you run iwfsck on your backing store recently - if not, it might be a good idea to do so...
