We have installated the content server 21.4

Is that possible to change the password for installation Owner account using the below command.

> passwd ownername

Please let me know the steps to reset the password as dm_check_password is not successful.

Also please let me know whether the new password string needs to be updated on any configuration file ?

Yes that's correct. If you use that account from other products like CTS, then you need to update it there as well.

@bacham3 Thanks for the update.

In our case, we just have one content server with 2 repositories and 2 docbrokers and JMS installed. So no need to update the password on other places?
