how to clone access ?

I have to grant access to the new user. This user "B" is to have access just like that of existing user "A".

A is having access to about 25 groups. So how do I grant access to B like that of A ?
Do I have to each group and add him there ? or is there any more efficient way available ?

windows server 2003, ts6.7.1, sp1

Do you sue any Active Directory or LDAP for granting access?

If you use none of these there is no other way on WINDOWS to clone access than to manually add the user to all the groups.

Ideally when you have to add a user to multiple groups, then add first the user to a group and then add that group to other groups, this helps in maintaining scalability and modularity, it not an answer to your question though.

This is possible on Solaris, definately not on WINDOWS. Windows has it mind of its own.

Well there is no mention of TeamSite users though out this post. But again I was cosidering the scenario from the OS point of view and into TS level.

how to check active directory or LDAP ?

We have a system of groups. Users are added to x group and this group is added to y group. This y group is having access to the branch.

Can you pls let me know how to check LDAP or Active Dir ?
