WDK 6.8 based performance slow in Tomcat 9

We have Records 6.8 and Taskspace 67 SP3, they are WDK 6.8 based and working well in Tomcat 7, but very slow in Tomcat 9.

We now are upgrading content server and Records to new version, but we can not change Taskspace, 67SP3 is last release.

How to make Taskspace 67SP3 or WDK 6.8 working well in Tomcat 9?

Are you sure that TaskSpace 6.7 SP3 is certified against Tomcat 9? Check the release notes but I think it isn't.

not certified as Tomcat9 was release after TaskSpce 6.7.SP3, that means we can't make it work in Tomcat9?

It's not what it means. It just means it's not certified nor supported. If you can get it to run, good for you, but you probably shouldn't run such a configuration in a production environment.
