Adding server name to image and file paths

Everytime i open an existing file, it adds: http://server-name

to all of the image file paths, and links paths??

whats the deal with that? it does not allow relative paths or what?

Yes, our team has already gone through those steps and it had no effect.

yes, it does insert server name and disfigures relative paths.

And you have to live with it. With server name - regex it out. With the paths - tough luck. The suggested 'solution' by IWOV is half-baked and if works, it does so only for one kind of a rel. path - say 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 and so on levels. But not for all of them.

We have support looking at our visualformatconfig.xml currently, but i dont see how that is the problem?

what is happening sounds deeping then the eWebeditpro module.
