DCMT REST API document streaming architecture

Hi,

What is the best practice (security in mind) when you want to use direct links in a application http://domain:port/dctm-rest/repositories/[repository name]/objects/12345578899/content-media so that the browser client will directly open the document streaming via build in PDF viewer?

How can you make sure that the endusers misuse to use other method then GET?

is a logical id prefered to use in stead of directly the objectID?
