For converting tpl (pt-based)to xslt

Hi All,

We are planning to migrate our application from Teamsite 6.1 to 6.7.1 SP1 ,
but my team discovered that existing DCRs preview is giving us error in new environment as 6.7.1 SP1 does support pt compiler if it runs as a non-OS user.
as per my understanding there is only one solution :"convert all the existing tpls to xslts".But it is not feasible in our case as we are using good amount of perl code in tpls and we can'nt use perl code in xslt based tpl.

Will you recommend any other approach?

Any suggestions?

If you can't convert from Perl PTs to XSLT - then don't switch from OS to Non-OS Users.

Not really. This is clearly documented in Autonomy Interwoven product manuals.

What does that mean?
You have choices:

That's pretty much it. If they want Non-OS Users, you have to recode everything using XSLT.If you don't want to recode everything using XSLT, you have to convince them that they don't want/need Non-OS Users.Anything else is like being "a little bit pregnant" ;-)
