Getting a folderID

EDIT: I am using the WorkSite Web Service

I am looking for a way to get a folderId from the web service by searching in a specific workspace. I need to create a document in a specific folder and I do not have the folder Id only the description. I looked through the documentation labeled Software Version 8.2.x 08/06 and I do not see a search folders method.
