Large DCR fails to Load in IE7

Having a problem that in IE7 the DCT will not initialize in Edit or View mode.

A Javascript error occurs with the following message:
Line 434:
Char : 5
Error: 'gGeneratedStyles' is undefined
Code:0


We have 6.7.1 SP1 Patch 2 (4518) installed running on Solaris.
IE7 Version 7.0.5730.13CO
running on
Windows XP
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600

We think the problem is related to the number of replicants. When we remove the last one manually, the problem goes away. Add it back it comes back.

I have found the initialzation of the "gGeneratedStyles" variables and reference to it in the following files.

httpd/webapps/content_center/datacapture/datacapture.inl
httpd/webapps/content_center/datacapture/datacapture_functions.js

I tried to comment these out but I think the app needs to be rebuilt for these changes to take affect.

Known problem. No know solution except to use Mozilla or IE6 for those.

I reported the bug to IWOV about a year ago, they said that since I had a "patched" level of IE7 (autogrades are on at my site) I was using an unsupported browser and I am SOL. They could not reproduce it with vanillla IE7.

Try filing a bug, if they list it as a bug let me know & I will get on the list of interested companies.
