calling replicant handler for inner replicants

I have a DCT which contains nested replicants. For ex:

i want to add itemhandler for replicant2 on the event of "OnReplicantAdded". I tried IWEventRegistry.addItemHandler("/replicant1/replicant2", "OnReplicantAdded", replicantHandler);

but it couldnt work.

any ideas?

What version of TS?
Is this an "iwov" or "xml" style DCT?
Are you sure you're using the correct pathing (/replicant1/replicant2)?
Are you sure that the replicant handler doesn't get called and the problem isn't there rather than in the registration of the event handler?
