iwpt_compile refuses to create deleted Files

and said the version in STAGING is newer then in your WORKAREA. even if you have only one WORKAREA in the Branch an nothing submitted yet. We are now at the point of reactivating the old 5.0.1 version because of this bug and some others to. Because cost us hours of work and drive us crazy.

We are using TS 5.5.2. In TS 5.0.1 we never had this problem.

Now its getting even worse. we have now a branch with two workareas on our customer TS 5.5.2 SP1 Server on solaris where we are not able to generate any file. The error message said:
Unable to lock file .... file is either older in conflict with the version in the staging area.
This is really funny as we just do a get latest before this.
And we need to generate this file now!
Any suggestions?

I suggest you contact Interwoven Support - this sounds like something that could definitely benefit from more direct assistance / analysis.

On the face of it - it sounds like file system level access issues - but it would probably be faster for you to go through Support than to go back-and-forth via the forums. However, please post when you get a resolution.
