Opening a "OFF-LINE" document using OpenCmd command

My Firm insists on Front-end profiling documents that are stored in Worksite, as a result there is a front-end VBA application that creates a document, stores it in Worksite and then opens the document in MS Word. However, they now want this feature to be avaialable "Off line", I have managed to create the document in "Off-line" Worksite, but am unable to open the resultant document in MS word. I could use the open command in word via the VBA but that does not check-it out and causes an error whenit is closed.

Any ideas would be welcome.

The code that I use to open in "Connected" mode is as follows:
