TBO access from Webtop

Dear Experts,

We have webtop application which uses TBO & SBO using dbor.properties i.e. do not need to install the TBO & SBO on Content Server, but now we have planned to install the TBO & SBO on content server & i am able to install a test TBO on the content server. But I am not sure how I am going to use it in webtop component to instantiate that TBO, does anyone have idea how to use installed TBO/SBO in webtop. As i want to insatiate the TBO using save method of the TBO.

Shall i need to use the interface jar file into the webtop application.

dbor.properties was used in BOF 1.0 before Documentum supported dynamic deployment of interface/implementation JARs using modules. Take a look at this link to do this using BOF 2.0:

Thank you Johnny for your reply, I am able to install it using composer. But i dont know how do i use it into the Webtop with code, i.e. We have lot of customization which require us to insatiate the Object using code.

What would be the approach access the Interface of the TBO in webtop customization code.

If you followed the deployment instructions, then TBO/SBO will be download to DFC cache on your app server when webtop webapp is restarted

How can we use this DFC cache in the development environment?

Cache is used by Webtop or any other DFC client - you dont interact with it directly.

TBO/SBO you built using dbor.properties can still be used, its just need to be packaged using BOF2 deployment approach in the link above.
