Not able to preview changes in dcr's

Hello all,

We are running TS 5.0.1 on Solaris. This morning we are suddenly unable to change data records and preview the changes. Meaning, if we make changes to a dcr named, say, xyz and hit 'Preview' the changes dont show up. Also if we save the dcr under a different name( say, xyz1) the text confirming the save pops up, but the file does not show up either in the GUI or in the file system. However, if we try to save it again under the name (say xyz2) the file name xyz1 shows up in the window which shows the contents of the data directory. But the dcr's do not show up on the GUI or the file system.

Has anybody seen anything like this?? Please reply with any possible suggestions.

R u able to click on DCR link.It seems to be datacapture has changed

This sounds like a caching issue.

Is your browser set to *not* cache files and *always* read the pages from the URL specified?

Yes , this happens sometimes..we change the DCR and soon if we preview the content it will show the old data.

The remedie for this would be to wait for some time say 30 seconds and preview the same.

As what Fish said is may be cache issue.

Thanks for your replies. The whole issue was more complex than I thought it would be, but with IWOV support we finally licked it.Had to modify the openapi.cfg and reexpanded the webdesk war file. This corrected the issue.
