Teamsite 6.5 SP1 to SP3 on UNIX

Could someone kindly provide me an estimated time required to install SP3 on Teamsite 6.5 for UNIX? Assuming that the backing stores are already already backed up.

Assuming you have not done anything unsupported (hacking .jsps etc) :

If you have all the information, a couple hours max.

Walk through the manual and collect the information beforehand. The installer asks for information it already knows (DB connectivity, drivers, ports, etc).

IIRC, SP1 used the new license model, so you should not need a new license, but verify that, you should have TC.lic in iwhome/etc

I do see " iw-home/etc/TS.lic".

However, according to the documentation:

"Because the base TeamSite 6.5 release and Service Pack 3 use different license key implementations, you must perform a different license key activation procedure for each release.
A Service Pack 2 license key will activate Service Pack 3, but not the base release or Service Pack 1. Conversely, a license key for the base release or Service Pack 1 will not activate Service Pack 2 or 3."

So if we add the key retrieval time, would 2-3 hours be a safe bet?

Have the support login ready and be prepared to regen a license if you need to. Yes 2-3 hours should be sufficient.
