webtop 16.7.9 application errors

Dear Experts,

we have upgraded our webtop application from 6.8 to 16.7.9 with all the customizations,

but now we are getting below exception in some of functionality

[DM_SESSION_E_CANT_ALLOCATE_NEXT_TICKET_BATCH]error: "Could not allocate next ticket batch." [DM_SESSION_E_CANT_ALLOCATE_NEXT_TICKET_BATCH]error: "Could not allocate next ticket batch."

and for some

[DM_SESSION_E_CANT_MAKE_ID]error: "Could not satisfy request to make 1 ids for the tag 6" [DM_SESSION_E_CANT_MAKE_ID]error: "Could not satisfy request to make 1 ids for the tag 6"

I have tried to find the reasons for the above errors but could not find anything for them, does anybody face similar problems or know how to resolve the errors please do let me know.

Also, what functionality is triggering these errors? Did you create any custom tag-lib in your customization? Also, have you tried to see if the OOTB webtop (w/o customization) generates these errors?

Yes we have custom tag lib, but did not see any problem with it.

the underline error is as follows

table on which save failed was dmi_sequence_s; error from database system was -- Database is either not connected or not reachable -- STATE=08S01, CODE=0, MSG=[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server]Communication link failure

I saw lot of this error in content server logs, but did not found any solution for this, why its always failed on dmi_sequence_s?

even [DM_SESSION_E_CANT_ALLOCATE_NEXT_TICKET_BATCH] shows the simmilar error.

So dmi_sequence object type is used to manage object IDs on the content server. This should never be called by any custom code. Are you seeing this error in the OOTB webtop? If so, submit a ticket to OpenText Support, this might be a bug.

in 16.7.9 webtop we are not able login with the deliverables from Opentext. is 16.7.9 stable version or it has any issues?

Webtop 16.7.9 is a stable release. If you have issues, please create your own thread and explain the problem.

is it compatable with java 11. when we installed java 11 with webtop 16.7.9, we are not able to see the login screen some times, some times we are seeing NULL pointer exception after login,Can you suggest the stable version other than the 16.7.9 which is compatable with 22.4 content server.
