Hi,I had below line of code to generate a page from a CGI on click on some button with Teamsite version 6.5.
window.setTimeout('window.open(""+protocol+"//"+servername+"/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/iwtmplhtmlwizard.cgi?iw_dcrVPath="+dcrPath+"&ptName="+pt+"&iwFileName="+dcrHTML+"&area_path="+areaPath+"&iw_overwrite=t&session="+mySession+"&iw_locale=en_US")',3000);window.setTimeout('window.close()',14000);
It looks like in Teamsite 6.7.2 iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/iwtmplhtmlwizard.cgi CGI no longer is there. Please any one give me an alternative solution to this ?
Our Teamsite Server is 6.7.2, no such CGI.
In TeamSite 6.5.x, the FormsPublisher client used a CGI to invoke
iwptcompile.ipl
.First, the CGI wrapper that wraps all incoming CGI calls is spawned (running as
System
). This attempts to create a user token that fails if the user does not have “logonlocally” (effective permission). This failure is ignored by the CGI wrapper code, and itspawns the
iwtmplpreview.cgi
running as
System
. Thus, the failure to impersonate theuser is ignored. In TeamSite 6.7.x, FormsPublisher goes through the Utility Service (
iwutild
). As aresult,
properly detects the failure to create a user token when Logon Locally isdisabled, and it returns an error. The
iwptcompiler
should not and does not run.
My alternate solution
1. Generate the page using iwgen
2. Show to user using Preview URL command
