Import Error
Rohan_t1
Hi All,
TeamSite 6.5 SP3
One of the user here is facing a import error.
The error is
"Local File Manager couldn't create the directory C:/Temp for keeping temporary files, without this edit, edit with and view all will not work.
Couldn't create cirectory C:/temp
com.ms.security.SecurityExceptionEx-cannot access file C:/Temp"
1) JRE Version is 1.4.2, so compatible.
2) No space issues either, 16GB available in C:
Can any one suggest what could be the issue here? User uses IE 6.
Thanks

Check the user is having Administrator privilege to create folder under C:\ Drive and check the folder permission if folder already exists

Why are you trying c:/temp ? It already exists. TS wants a new folder which is why it uses c:/iwtemp

Jagan,
I will confirm with the user.
Nipper,
I am not sure why it is trying to create temp whereas IWTEMP already exists.
Import was working previously but suddenly this error has come up today.
This error shows up as soon as import is clicked.
I asked user to delete IWTEMP so that when TS asks to create it again it could be created in other drive(D
. But before reaching this stage the error shows up i.e on click of import itself.
IE cache was also deleted but no success.

Then view my local files and edit the settings
Change it from c:/temp to d:/iwtemp

Thanks for your suggestion..i will try this..
Do we have the option of changing the settings in Content Center: Standard too?

Thanks Nipper. This worked. IWTEMP was successfully created again in other drive.
