How to get iwhome into custom_instantiation.cfg

Hi all,

I would like to read a properties file which is in iwhome/local.

And by reading that prop file I need to display some select

options to the user on the custom_instantiation screeen.

Is there FormAPI related function in to WFM to get iwhome value for me.

Are you reading the properties file through an inline script, a callServer script, or (unlikely) a [cgi-]callout script? Or some other way??

In the case of the scripts - the language you choose for the script can provide access to the value of "iwhome". With Perl you can use TeamSite::Config's iwgethome() subroutine. With Java, I'm sure there's a comparable method - and worse-comes-to-worst you can always run the CLT iwgethome yourself.

yes thats true ,I can call other programs like ipl or java,but if I can get any

function in formapi(related to custom_instantiation.cfg) it would be more

easy for me.

You can achieve this by using datasource.

yoy can read values from property file in SampleDataSource java and return values should be List.
