iwat event is not triggering

Hi All,
We are using TeamSite 6.7.1 on Solaris10 platform
We have configured 2 events using iwat CLT

ID: 139630 "CreateWorkarea" /interwoven/teamsite/local/new_workarea.ipl
ID: 386451 "PublishStagingArea" /interwoven/teamsite/local/publish_iwat.ipl

But when I create a new workarea the event is not triggered.
Please let me know how to debug it.

Are you sure you have configured the events correctly? When you list the events, you should see the ipl with your iwperl executable path. Something like this:

\Programs\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin>iwlsat.exe
ID: 292923 "CreateFSE" \Programs\Interwoven\TeamSite\iw-perl\bin\iwperl.exe \Programs\Interwoven\TeamSite\httpd\iw-bin\herbalife\Locale_Attrib.ipl
ID: 292925 "Update" \Programs\Interwoven\TeamSite\iw-perl\bin\iwperl.exe \Programs\Interwoven\TeamSite\httpd\iw-bin\herbalife\Locale_Attrib.ipl

Have you bothered to read Surender's post before chiming in?

He's on Solaris, so no - he won't see anything remotely like your Windows sample.
Matter of fact, Surender posted his "iwlsat" output, providing that his scripts have
correct Perl shebang and executable mode (see Ghoti's post) that's perfectly legit
event handler registrations

The scripts are perfectly fine and those are running for the last few years. suddenly it's got stopped executing...

Are these "iwat" events and scripts have any inter relations with iwevents.log or eventSubSystem?

It seems my iwevents.log is not populating the stuff with the events triggered.

Yea triggers do depend on the event subsystem. Is it running ?
