TeamSite 20.4.0.5 patch questions + JDK issue

Has anyone successfully applied the TeamSite 20.4.0.5 patch? We are in a windows environment and noticed a few things

1) the "certified" JDK version is already old and unavailable to download (11.0.13) - so we tried using the most current versionjdk-11.0.16.1+1. is that OK? we cannot use Oracle, must be open source. we tried switching over our current 20.4.0.4 to this JDK, but the reporting service wont stay started unless we re-install the old JDK.

2) the version OpenText wants isn't available to download, even under archived downloads

3) why are these incremental patches now huge 5gb downloads/installs? they used to be zips we could easily apply/rollback. now due to their size and complexity patching becomes a major chore/project now.

I installed 20.4.0.5 patch earlier this year successfully but we are on running on Linux & Amazon Corretto-11.0.16 OpenJDK.

Good to know thanks, we are going to stick with the .13 JDK to avoid shenanigans with support. However, we can't even get past the Dokan install now (which you probably dont need/use for Linux?) - there is no documentation we could find about the Dokan version to use with 20.4.0.5

Feedback from Vendor - our servers dont have Internet access and Dokan needs updated manually (not in the docs)

The version of Dokan that you have is older and apparently the server does not have Internet access to get the updated version. Here are the steps to manually update Dokan and resolve the upgrade issue:

First download the later version of Dokan from https://github.com/dokan-dev/dokany/releases/download/v1.5.0.3000/Dokan_x64.msi

Copy Dokan_x64.msi to the TS server and follow these directions:

1. Uninstall old version of Dokan (1.2.2.1000) from "Add and remove programs".

2. Reboot the box.

3. Manually install new version of Dokan (https://github.com/dokan-dev/dokany/releases/download/v1.5.0.3000/Dokan_x64.msi)

4. Restart TeamSite server (from services.msc).

5. Restart JBoss (from services.msc).

6. Run TeamSite installer for Upgrade.
