Approval Contract - "Error creating Contract"

Can it be that you did not deploy the ot2_app_contract cms type in you tenant? The step how to do that are described in the 'Sample app - Contract Approval' example as described here https://developer.opentext.com/learn/tutorials/d4c0a773ef486fef1876cbd3709161f2
Note that that example does not yet use the OpenText Cloud Developer Tools extensions for VS Code. I propose that you have look at the updated contract approval app tutorial as described in https://mimage.opentext.com/ot/2/devx/vscode/22.4.1/vscode-tutorial.pdf
This is a complete step-by-step guide showing and explaining you how to develop an application with the OpenText Developer Tools extensions in VS Code and how to use the OpenText Cloud APIs.
The tutorial also explains how setup a local development environment with nodejs and how to install the OpenText Developer Cloud VS Code extensions.

Thanks jpluimers, Yes I followed the steps that show in https://developer.opentext.com/learn/tutorials/d4c0a773ef486fef1876cbd3709161f2/steps/1
The first I installed in my cmd Node.js Version 14.2.0 and npm
Then I downloaded the project of github
and I created my app in my tenant
Next I saved my project in a folder and execute in the cmd
Then I started in the App Contract Approval
But I have been readin in the communitys and They recommend your solutions https://mimage.opentext.com/ot/2/devx/vscode/22.4.1/vscode-tutorial.pdf and I will try to follow the steps
Thanks a lot

Hi, the 'Sample app - Contract Approval' has steps to use Postman to create the cms type definition in the CMS service. these must be done before you can use the app in nodejs. See step 5 and 6 op that example. https://developer.opentext.com/learn/tutorials/d4c0a773ef486fef1876cbd3709161f2/steps/6
As mentioned, it is better today to use the complete step by step Tutorial. This does not use Postman anymore do create the cms type definitions, but instead shows how you can use VS Code to do this.
Using the OpenText Developer Tools extensions for VS Code and the Contract Approval app tutorial are the best way to start learning and using the OpenText cloud apis.
Have fun with the tutorial !
