Get the Size and Type of file in DCT

Hi ,

I have a requirement which says that when a user browse to a file in DCT ,it should automatically populate the size and type of that file in the DCT .

Any pointer on how to implement that .

You can implement it with cgi-callout and ipl. Write an ipl file that populate the size and type of the file browsed in DCT.
Add a cgi-callout node within browser node and pass the url of the ipl file.

You could use FormAPI onChange event handler to invoke a callServer() script that could determine the information and populate the fields.

I think it's actually a bit easier than writing your own CGI browser interface....
