Font color issue in visual formatter

Hi,

I m using TS 6.7.1
I have configured visual format config file for font color drop down.
problem is when i select any word and applied color from drop down then it showing color properly on that word. but if i clicked on source window or if i save saved VF window. then all this color style is removed automatically. and it showing plain text instead of colored.
i have attached changes in configuration file.
i heard about stripped off font tag.. is it same problem?
Please suggest something..

Hi,
i am facing another issues for Font size, i have configured all font size setting.
but problem is only fontsize 1 and fontsize 7 is working.
if i click on 2 to 6 it will print fontsize 1 only.
actually i need to configure for fontsize 2 to 6.

I would recommend avoid using the <font> tag all together because it's a deprecated HTML tag. You should be using styles instead.

is there any setting that changes font tag to style?

i heard about span class ="****"> text /span> can do this color & font size.

is this possible in VF?

You should search the web for help on CSS - you might start with W3Schools

Our user will not do any copy paste for content entry. i have to provide solution that they can manage size of font in VF.

Previously they were using span tag with classes that mapped with VF CSS.
but they want to font size option in menu bar.
is there any way to configure, if user clicks any number in font size drop down then span class code will appear in code window instead of font size tag?

Please suggest..

As per my understanding apart from style class the single option is creating custom tag with the help of javascript. It might be complex but can be achieved. You should go through the VFE developer guide. That can be available at ektron's website (www.ektron.com).
