OD halts at DCR names having French characters

Hi All,
I am trying to do a reverse Deployment between two of our servers with applyExtAttrs="yes".

Users have named a few DCR's in french (for e.g. - HoméTôpîc, FormulairePourLesÉtudiant19à24ans etc...). So, when i initiate an OD, it halts the deployment when it encounters these french character named DCR's. The deployment is halted for ever and doesn't proceed any further.

I believe the deployment is halted when, OD tries to apply the extended attributes.

Is there a way by which we can request OD to skip such files ?

I suggest filtering out based upon the ascii character set.
i.e. ignore ascii values > 127

A filter in the Opendeploy configuration matching something along the following lines may help :-
[\x80-\xFF]

OD freezes at this DCR, Déclarationd'étatdesanté.

Following is one of the statements which i have tried :

Also, i tried applyExtAttrs="no" option and everything deploys absolutely fine.

So, it seems like deployment is halting when grabbing/applying the extended attributes.

Is there a way to skip grabbing/applying extended attributes only to these french character named DCR's ?

Something about that exclusion pattern looks wrong - have you tried:

".*[-'()\x80-\xFF].*$"

i.e. group all the exclusions in one character class section?

I haven't opened a case yet.
As a workaround i tried the following :
Step 1 -

.
.

[/HTML]
So, all the DCR's including the French are copied over but with out the extended attributes.

Step 2 -
Wrote a perl script to set the extended attributes of all the DCR's.

Still, am not happy with this approach...
